Realme 7 series full review 2023 best smart phone

The Realme 7 series is a lineup of smartphones launched by Realme, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer known for offering feature-packed devices at affordable prices. The series consists of the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. Here's a full review of the Realme 7 series, taking into account the features and specifications available as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021. Please note that there may have been newer models released after that date.

Design:

Both the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro feature a modern design with a glossy back panel and a plastic frame. The phones offer a solid build quality and come in attractive color options. The placement of buttons and ports is convenient, and they have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking.

Display:

The Realme 7 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It offers vibrant colors, good viewing angles, and sufficient brightness levels for indoor and outdoor use. The Realme 7 Pro, on the other hand, steps up with a Super AMOLED display. It measures 6.4 inches and also has a Full HD+ resolution. The AMOLED panel provides deep blacks, better contrast, and improved power efficiency compared to the IPS LCD panel on the standard model.

Performance:

Under the hood, the Realme 7 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, coupled with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. This configuration offers smooth performance for day-to-day tasks and handles moderate gaming quite well. The Realme 7 Pro, on the other hand, packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which is more powerful and efficient than the MediaTek chipset. It provides a smooth user experience, handles multitasking with ease, and can handle heavy games without much trouble.

Both models come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Camera:

The camera setup on the Realme 7 series is one of its highlights. The Realme 7 boasts a quad-camera system with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera performs well in daylight conditions, capturing detailed photos with accurate colors. The ultra-wide-angle lens is useful for capturing wider scenes, while the macro lens allows for close-up shots. The depth sensor helps with portrait mode shots, providing good background blur.

The Realme 7 Pro, on the other hand, features a quad-camera setup as well, but with some differences. It includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera performance is similar to the Realme 7, with slightly improved image processing thanks to the better ISP on the Snapdragon chipset.

Both phones offer capable selfie cameras, with the Realme 7 featuring a 16-megapixel front camera and the Realme 7 Pro sporting a 32-megapixel front camera. They can capture detailed selfies and support various beauty modes and portrait effects.

Battery:

The Realme 7 packs a large 5,000mAh battery, while the Realme 7 Pro comes with a slightly smaller 4,500mAh battery. However, the Realme 7 Pro makes up for it with its 65W SuperDart fast charging technology, which can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in just around 34 minutes. The Realme 7 supports 30W fast charging, which
